Escuela Oficial Rural Mixta - Ilom

In 2021, the neighboring building, which was a 2nd hand gas supplier, caught on fire, causing the school to face damage to 5 classrooms. Hence, we plan to:

  • replace ceiling beams,

  • replace metal roofing,

  • replace gutters,

  • rewire the classroom,

  • replace windows with blocks,

  • and repaint classrooms

Escuela Oficial Rural Mixta - Xeceal

The current school buildings are at their full capacity and in poor condition. Flooding floors and strong winds cause water to enter the establishment. The buildings are also being used as a council meeting place and a bodega. The council bought a piece of land (about 3 acres) to build a school, but funds are in need to do so. We plan to develop five classrooms and phase out a mini solar grid.
